The 29th International Economic Forum on expanding cooperation in various sectors, including trade and investment, was held in St. Petersburg on June 3.
The discussion was attended by Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers led by Vice President U Nyo Saw and officaials including Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation and Myanmar Consul General.First, the Vice President and his team met with the Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation and the Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee to discuss the current state of cooperation between Myanmar and Russia, as well as trade and investment sectors.
The Vice President then met with the Director of the Roscongress Investment Fund (Fund RC-Investments). During the meeting, they discussed the progress of the ongoing cooperation between the relevant ministries and organizations and the Roscongress Investment Fund operating in Myanmar in the agricultural, mining, trade and electricity sectors, as well as the prospects for further cooperation.
