For the reforms being implemented by the state government to be successful, the Hluttaw representatives need to act as a strong bridge between the people of each constituency and government departments, said U Aung Lin Dwe, Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw. He made the remarks in his opening remarks on the first day of the second regular session of the third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw held on the morning of June 4.
The needs, difficulties and opinions of the people who really need it on the ground should be systematically analyzed and presented for discussion through the mechanisms of the Hluttaw, such as the relevant committees and commissions, so that they can effectively benefit national-level policies, said U Aung Lin Dwe, Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw. He fully expects that the necessary information will be studied in advance for every issue discussed, and that we will compare and consider international developments and develop modern and innovative legislative ideas that will serve the long-term interests of the future nation.
In addition, Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw U Aung Lin Dwe said that in order to ensure the correct implementation of democracy, it is necessary to exercise mutual supervision and be careful not to create a pattern of friction in which one side wants to interfere or influence the other.
