Officials of Criminal Investigation Department-CID of Myanmar Police Force investigated the scene of murder of three family members including a doctor in Zawanatheikdi Ward, Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, an official of Nay Pyi Taw-based Thubba Thukha Funeral Service Association said.
The family members were found dead at a house on Myat Lay Street in the said township on August 10 afternoon. The victims were a father who is a doctor, a mother and a son. Of the murdered family members, the doctor was found killed in the kitchen of the house, the mother in bathroom and the son on the bed in the bedroom with stab wounds respectively.
According to CCTV records, it is learnt that the incident took place at night on August 8 and the suspects for the murder took away a car and some belongings, the official of the association said.
Besides the local police officials, senior officials of CID came and investigated the scene of the incident. Currently, the bodies of the killed have been sent to Nay Pyi Taw 1000-bed Hospital. The suspects have not been caught yet, and the case was opened at Phayargon Myoma Police Station in Ottarathiri Township and is being investigated.
