A man doused a three-people census team for election including a 100-house elder with gasoline and set them on fire on Dhamma Yeiktha Lane, Kyisu Ward, Dawbon Township, Yangon Region, according to an official of the Kyisu Ward Administrative Office.
The perpetrator fled after attacking them, and a team of relevant departments are thoroughly searching for him. The victims, a 100-house elder of Kyisu Ward and two female volunteers, are receiving medical treatment at Yangon General Hospital. The case has been opened at the Dawbon Police Station, and currently, measures are being taken to be able to arrest the man who did the attack.
