A meeting on promoting Myanmar-China economic cooperation was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, at 1:00 p.m. local standard time on September 6.
The meeting was attended by Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on a working visit to China, and a high-level Myanmar delegation, as well as Chinese businessmen in Sichuan Province, Chinese businessmen who have invested in Myanmar, and many businessmen interested in investing in Myanmar.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered an opening speech at the event. After that, the businessmen in attendance asked questions, and relevant officials answered them. The full report of the meeting will be provided later.
