Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that it is necessary to ensure that domestically produced solar panels must be of same quality to those imported from abroad.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing made the remarks while visiting the Electronics and Electric Motor Workshop of No.( 2 ) Heavy Industry and the solar panel factory of Shwe Katha Company Limited in Yangon Region on March 21. He stated that it is necessary to continuously research and enhance solar producing technologies that are evolving with the times.
Myanmar also needs to encourage solar power generation businesses because of its pleasant weather and many sunny days. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing also emphasized the importance of producing raw materials for solar panels domestically.
