The Ministry of Health, Union Minister for Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, said that international infections are being continuously monitored to prevent the spread of Hantavirus and Ebola into the country.
He made the remarks at a meeting on recent international infectious diseases and other infectious diseases held at the Ministry of Health Office No. 4 on June 1.He said that international infections are being continuously monitored and preparedness work has been carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization. Currently, the Ministry of Health is forming an infectious disease surveillance and response team, laboratory liaison team, and medical management committee.
