A total of 33 buildings have been systematically demolished as of June 4 in the Shwe Kokko area and KK Park areas of Myawaddy Township, Kayin State, where online gambling has been established, and a total of 44 buildings will be systematically demolished.
The departmental teams have been working together to completely demolished hree illegal 3-story residential buildings in the Shwe Kokko area and systematically destroy the equipment used in the operation on June 4 in order to prevent further online gambling from occurring in illegal buildings.
In the Shwe Kukko area, 77 buildings used for online gambling fraud have been designated for demolition.
They have been systematically classified by type and , 57 buildings are being demolished with vehicles and 20 buildings are being demolished with vehicles detonated. The national government has taken the fight against online gambling fraud as a national responsibility and is actively working in coordination with local forces and neighboring countries to ensure that it cannot gain a foothold in Myanmar.
