Dr. Nanda Kyaw Swar, a member of the Pyithu Hluttaw from Dagon constituency, has been elected as the presiding chairperson of the third Pyithu Hluttaw. The nominations for the presiding chairperson of the third Pyithu Hluttaw were submitted by the Pyithu Hluttaw MPs from Laikha constituency, Sai Sein Win, and Dr. Nanda Kyaw Swar, a member of the Pyithu Hluttaw from Dagon constituency. In the voting, Dr. Nanda Kyaw Swar received 348 votes and Sai Sein Win received 27 votes.
After that, Dr. Nanda Kyaw Swar, who was elected as the presiding chairperson, took the oath, signed the oath-taking document, and delivered a speech. The first regular session of the third Pyithu Hluttaw is holding on March 16.
