As the voter lists are being prepared and verified to ensure their accuracy, the final lists will be posted at the relevant ward and village tract sub-commissions starting on December 23, the Union Election Commission has announced.
For the townships included in the election Phase (1), the voter list will be posted on December 23 to 25 at the relevant ward and village tract commissions, and on December 26 until the end of voting on December 28.
The announcement also states that the remaining townships (excluding the 56 townships that have announced that they will not hold elections) will be posted for 14 days from December 23 to January 5, 2026, except for the 102 townships included in the election Phase (1).
Voters are advised to note down their voter registration numbers so that they can avoid any delays during the verification and signing of voter registration at the polling station on election day. The first round of posting of voter registration lists was conducted from September 30 to October 20 (21 days), while the second round of posting of voter registration lists was conducted from November 21 to December 4 (14 days).
