Myanmar Sar Saya Goandoo U Thein Naing passed away in the early morning of November 25, according to those close to him. He passed away at his home, and he was 89 years old at the time of his death. Detail arrangements for his funeral ceremony are not yet known.
He passed the matriculation exam in 1955 as the only distinction student nationwide in the Myanmar language from State High School No.(2), Monywa. During his middle school and high school years, he also won more than 20 first prizes in literature competitions.
Together with Sayar Tin Moe, he published Myanma Sar Ahpyay Kyaw, Bawa Kyei Mon, Sar Kyei Mon (Lives and Literature of Authors), and Goandoo Essays Collections. With Saya Min Ni, he published the full-length novel Nyaung Ywet Kelti Kywaw Le Han. With U Than Tun, he published Taw Win Sar Mon (The Royal Essays), as well as works such as Sayar Yin Essays, Lam Thit Essays, and Lu Yei Chwon ) Outstanding Student) Essay Collections.
In addition, he published books on annual textbooks for 8th grade, 9th grade, matriculation, curriculum books, special editions, general Myanmar literature, Goandoo Orthography, Kabyar Pan Myine, Myanmar Essay Collections for self-study, History of Myanmar Theater (Third Prize in Fine Arts Literature in National Literary Award) and Myanmar Marionette Theater (Second Prize in National Literary Award), Myanmar Sar Dikar, Myanmar Essays, Pan Sapae Essays, Shwedaung Taung Essays, Shwepyi Tan Essays, Goandoo Mawgun and Golden Jubilee Essays.
