There are about 5 million individuals who have taken the matriculation exam from 2021 up until now but have failed to pass and it is necessary to consider and implement how they can be utilized for the benefit of the country, said Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
About 46 percent of the population over the age of 25 in our country have weakness in education, so it is imperative to focus on improving education and only when education is strong can we obtain good human resources, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said. There are many students who have failed the matriculation exam in the country and it is necessary to consider how they can be used for the country, therefore, arrangements have been made to open polytechnic schools that can teach students who can enter the workplace in their respective fields, he said.
As a results of opening polytechnic universities that combine computers and technology, we have seen success, and we need to look at the long-term future benefits of education and plan accordingly, he said.
In addition, our country needs to produce experts in the fields of agriculture, livestock and industry, and we would like to urge the regions and states to pay attention to what they should do to produce good educated human resources, said Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
