Plans are underway to install mobile traffic lights to ease traffic congestion and temporary traffic jams on major roads in Mandalay, according to the Mandalay City Development Committee.
The mobile traffic lights will be used at intersections with major traffic lights and narrow roads that are temporarily congested in Mandalay.
The advantage of mobile traffic lights is that if the electricity goes out, they will be used as temporary replacements so that traffic lights can continue to operate normally without causing traffic jams.
These mobile traffic lights were designed and tested by the Mandalay City Development Committee itself, and since they are powered by a solar system, they can be easily used to keep people safe on roads in case of an emergency.
