Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing has ordered to carry out systematic renovation at Hluttaw buildings damaged by the Mandalay earthquake as quickly as possible. He made the order while inspecting the progress of the renovation work on May 25.
He ordered to complete the renovation work within the stipulated time frame and to use quality construction materials to ensure its durability and strength. The Mandalay earthquake that struck on March 28 damaged the entrance to Hlutaw Gate No. (1) and the suspension bridge archway, the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Building, the Pyithu Hluttaw Building, the Zabuthiri Hall and the Amyotha Hluttaw Building.
