Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing instructed officials to complete repairs of office buildings damaged by the earthquake within the specified period.
The instruction was given during his inspection of the ministerial buildings damaged by the earthquake on May 27 evening. The Supreme Court of the Union and the Ministry of Labour were on the list of buildings that suffered major damage due to the earthquake, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said.

In order to ensure long-term endurance and be earthquake-resistant in the reconstruction process, it is necessary to obtain advice from earthquake and construction experts, conduct soil quality tests and carry out systematic calculations. Initial works that can be carried out quickly and reconstruction of office buildings should be completed within the specified period, he said.
