Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with the peace delegation of the National Democratic Alliance Army-NDAA (Mingla) at the Shwe Tarigan Yeiktha of Region Command HQ on May 25.
At the meeting, the Senior General said that as a priority, efforts must be made to work together in important sectors of education and health sectors in line with the government’s policy.
Together with the Senior General, the meeting was attended by SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin and senior military officers of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, and with U San Pae, Vice Chairman of Peace and Solidarity Committee, NDAA (Mongla), and officials were present at the meeting.

During the discussion at the meeting, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that all the national brethren living in the country need to serve national interest in unity and that efforts are to be continued to make towards development and peace and stability. He also said that the abundance of educated human resources is a must for the development of a region and a country.
Then, U San Pae, Vice Chairman of the NDAA (Mongla), said that they will work together in regional and national peace and stability activities and that they do not accept any armed group or political organization in the region. After that, both sides cordially exchanged views on peace process, education, health and regional development matters.
