The State Administration Council enacted the Third Amendment to the Civil Service Personnel Law on May 27.The amended law stipulates to substitute Sub-section (h) of Section 10 of the Civil Service Personnel Law by “(h) attending advanced courses for the position of Head of Service Organization conducted by ministries and organizations in addition to the courses set for relevant ranks by the Union Civil Service Board”.

In addition, Section 29 of the the Civil Service Personnel Law shall be substituted by the expressions “Except for special issues, in promoting ranks of the service personnel, they must have attended the courses set for relevant ranks” and “they must have attended the advanced course conducted by ministries and organizations for the positions and duties of the Head of Service Organization.” It is also amended to replace that the expression “Central Institutes of Civil Services” mentioned in Section 35 of the Civil Service Personnel Law shall be substituted by “State Service Academies”.
