The China-Myanmar Dialogue on the Implementation of the Global Governance Initiative was held at the Chinese Cultural Center in Yangon on September 22. The dialogue was jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy to Myanmar and China Media Group. The Global Governance Initiative is a tool to have new ideas and perspectives for driving a change in global governance.
The discussion was contributed by Minister-Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy Dr Zheng Zhihong, Deputy Director-General U Zay Yar of the Media Development Department under the Ministry of Information, Director of MITV News Daw Lain Maung Pan, Chairman of the Myanmar Press Council Dr Tin Tun Oo, Myanmar Insider Journal CEO U Aye Chan, senior adviser Dr Naing Swe Oo and Dr Khin Maung Lwin from the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies, representative of Shwe Myo Pauk Phaw Magazine, Daw Thet Mon Tun, and Dean of the Journalism Department Dr. Zin Mar Kyaw of the National Management Degree College.
The discussion was divided into two parts that included the topics of the essence of the Global Management Initiative and its importance to the world today, and the pathways that the Global Management Initiative provides for the development of Myanmar.
