Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Ambassador H.E. Mr. Iskander Azizov of the Russian Federation to Myanmar to promote discuss plans for enhancing cooperation in Hluttaw affairs between Myanmar and the Russian Federation. The discussion was held during a courtesy call on the Chairman of SAC Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, at the reception hall of SAC Chairman’s Office in Nay Pyi Taw on March 20 morning.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in Hluttaw affairs between the two countries. They also discussed sending study groups to the Russian Federation Hluttaw, continuing to enhance cooperation in defence, humanitarian issues, and other areas, as well as matters related to the exchange of goodwill visits between the two countries.
In addition, they discussed the successful state visit of the Chairman of SAC Prime Minister to the Russian Federation that further enhanced the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, the ongoing implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit, and the remaining issues that need to be discussed and implemented.
