Myanmar exported more than 2 million tonns of rice and broken rice in nine months in 2024-2025 financial year, according to data released by the Myanmar Rice Federation.
Myanmar exported more than 2.03 millions rice and broken rice from April to December 2024 and earned US$ 948 millions. The rice has been exported mainly to Indonesia and broken rice mainly to China.
In addition, more than 300,000 tons of rice and broken rice has been exported and earned US$ 145 millions in December 2024.
