Agricultural activities need to be resumed in areas affected by the earthquake, Chairman of the Agriculture and Livestock Development Commission General Nyo Saw said.
He made the remarks at a meeting of the Agriculture and Livestock Development Commission held in Nay Pyi Taw on May 22.
Officials need to take measures to resume agricultural activities in areas where the agriculture and livestock sectors were damaged by the Mandalay earthquake. The commission members, state and region governments, agricultural and livestock federations and entrepreneurs are to pay attention to following the guidelines and need to discuss the needs, and the commission is to coordinate and make decisions on practical implementation of methods and systems suitable for their country, he said.
