The Department of Urban and Housing Development announced that the units in the Yoma Yeikthar low-cost housing project in Dagon Myothit Seikkan Township will be sold with low-interest housing loans.
The Yoma Yeikthar low-cost housing project, which is being built and implemented by the Department of Urban and Housing Development of the Ministry of Construction, will sell 96 units from two 4-story buildings with 12 units.
Those who are on the list of 2,093 people who have accumulated housing savings of three million kyats or more at the Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Development Bank (CHID Bank) as of October 31, 2025 can apply. Registration will be accepted through the DUHD Sale Housing Facebook Page Messenger from 10 a.m to 3:30 p.m from January 5 to 9, 2026.
According to the number of rooms available for sale, the earliest number on CHID Bank’s waiting list will be drawn among those who have registered. The drawing of units will be held on January 16, 2026, and those who are eligible to purchase units will be required to take out a housing loan. The Department of Urban and Housing Development of the Ministry of Construction is developing low-cost, affordable housing projects, and rental housing projects, and is building and selling low-cost housing projects in Hlaing Tharyar, Shwe Pyi Thar, Dagon Myothit (Seak), and Thanlyin-Kyauktan townships in Yangon Region.
