Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok announced on September 26th that Myanmar citizens who are in Thailand can come and register before 12:00 in the morning during the office opening hours on working holidays, without having to make an appointment to exchange a new passport in sameday.
For people working in Thailand with PJ passports, monks, hospitalized patients students in various universities and seaman, if the specified documents are completed, the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok and the Consulate General in Chang Mai will provide a new exchange on the sameday.
It is reported that if workers from various workplaces are grouped together by factory managers and brought in with complete documents, they are processed on the sameday.
It has also been informed that the new passport exchange should be done by oneself and not incur unnecessary expenses.
