Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has announced that some regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw may be strong winds along with heavy rains between September 8 and 12.
It is said that the remnant clouds of the typhoon forming in the South China Sea and the low pressure forming in the northwestern Bay of Bengal, which is connected to the central and western Bay of Bengal, are likely to cause strong winds along with the heavy rain.
According to announcement, scattered to widespread thunderstorms may possible in Nay Pyi Taw, Sagaing Region, Mandalay Region, Bago Region and Shan State, Chin State, Rakhine State, Kayah State, Karen State and Mon State, strong winds may occur in some areas along with localized and scattered heavy rains.
It has announced that people who live near the highlands to aware of landslides and who live near rivers, streams to aware of floods and domestic shipping and flight to be aware.
