Romelu Lukaku arrived in Naples on Wednesday to complete a reported €30 million transfer from Chelsea.
Hundreds of Napoli fans greeted the 31-year-old Belgian striker as he arrived at Rome’s Ciampino Airport before making his way down south to to undergo a medical.
The move sees Lukaku reunite with new Napoli boss Antonio Conte under whom he enjoyed the two most productive seasons seasons of his career to date at Inter Milan, scoring 64 goals in 95 appearances.
After rejoining Chelsea for a club record fee of €115 million in 2021, Lukaku returned to Inter on loan for the 2022-23 season and spent last year on loan at Roma.
