The Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Sander Berge from Burnley for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old has agreed a five year deal, keeping him at Fulham until the summer of 2029, with a Club option to extend by a further 12 months. He will wear the number 16 shirt.
Speaking to FFCtv, Berge said: “It feels fantastic. It’s been a little bit back and forth the last few weeks, but I’m finally sitting here in the shirt in this beautiful stadium, knowing that my future is here, which feels great.
A defensive midfielder who is also at home playing further forward as an 8, Berge began his career in his native Norway with Asker, but didn’t have to wait long before a move to top flight Vålerenga, where he scored on his debut having just turned 17.
Though only with the Clarets for one year, Berge was a near ever present in the Premier League last term, featuring in 37 of their 38 fixtures, duly winning the club’s Player of the Season, and Players’ Player of the Season awards.
