Colombia’s Paralympic athletes landed at Charles de Gaulle airport on Thursday (August 22) welcomed by staff who put in place special measures to ensure the arrivals process went without a hitch.
Air France, working with Paris 2024, said measures were put in place for wheelchairs and special equipment to be delivered to passengers right after touchdown.
The Paris Olympics delivered a dazzling summertime success that charmed the world and reaffirmed French national pride.
Organisers are hoping the upcoming Paralympic Games, from August 28-September 8, will be a repeat of that success.
