Chairman of SAC, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that Chinese projects and employees in Myanmar will be protected, according to a statement from Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said this at the ceremony in which the Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia handed over her ambassador’s letter of appointment in Nay Pyi Taw on August 21.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that will practically protect the peace and stability of the Myanmar-China border region and will not allow any issue that harms China’s security and interests, according to the statement.
Ambassador Ms. Ma Jia said that China-Myanmar bilateral friendship, mutual trust and cooperation will vigorously promote and during her tenure and expressed her hope that the Myanmar side will realistically maintain and protect the safety of Chinese projects and personnel.
Ms. Ma Jia arrived in Myanmar on August 12 and began serving as ambassador.
