It is learnt that the property at No. 54 on University Avenue Road in Yangon was auctioned for 300 billion kyats for the second time but there were no buyers to make bids for the property.
The auction took place in the morning on August 15 in front of the No. 54 place, and a court bailiff officer performed the process of the auction. At the auction, the court bailiff officer asked three times if there was anyone who would make a bid for the auction, but there was no one to do it.
At the hearing on June 27, the Kamayut District Court decided to auction the property at No. 54 on University Avenue Road for the second time. The decree-holder in this court case applied to the court to revise the floor price at 285 billion kyats for the auction, and the court set the auction floor price at 300 billion kyats, considering the benefits of both parties.
The property at No. 54 was first auctioned for 315 billion kyats on March 20 but there were no buyers to offer bids for the auction. It is leant that the property includes a 1.923 acre plot of land with the land title in the name of late Daw Khin Kyi, wife of martyr leader General Aung San.
