The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Member of the Political Bureau, Foreign Affairs Minister Mr. Wan Yi said its opposition to the attacks on towns and villages by EAO groups in northern Shan State.
He said this during a meeting with SAC Chairman, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in Nay Pyi Taw on August 14.
During the meeting, SAC Chairman, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing said that such a dialogue will help further the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
After that, Chinese Foreign Minister Mr. Wan Yi said that China strongly supports Myanmar’s independence and sovereignty, supports SAC’s implementation of the 5 steps ahead and preparations for holding a multi-party democratic general election and China is cooperating seriously for the stability of Myanmar.
