All ASEAN member countries should cooperate positively in order to deal with internal affairs smoothly, according to the message sent by SAC Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on the 57th anniversary of ASEAN.
As an ASEAN member country, Myanmar is actively cooperating with all ASEAN member countries in the process of establishing the ASEAN Community in accordance with the ASEAN Charter, he said.
In addition, the message also states that Myanmar will continue to cooperate in meeting the obligations as a member country, both legally and financially and operationally.
The message also states that Myanmar will take on the role of coordinator of the ASEAN-Russia partnership between 2024 and 2027.
