Due to the floods in Bago Region, the people affected by the floods are in need of helps and donors can come and donate, said Bago Region Government Secretary U Aye Maung Kyi.
Currently, floods are occurring in 13 townships in Bago Region, he said.
Reion Government take actions to ensure that the people affected by the flood do not cause any risk to their livelihood or health and donors can donate purified drinking water, noodles and rice packs, U Aye Maung Kyi said.
Due to the heavy rains and the rise of the Bago River in Bago Township, 27 temporary flood evacuation camps have been opened and the regional government is providing support for more than 25,000 people.
