In the 2024-2025 academic year, as of June 21, it is known that the number of students enrolled in basic education schools has reached more than 7.3 million, said Chairman of NAC, Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
He said this at the opening ceremony of the All Myanmar Education Conference (2024) which held on June 25.
In the last 2023-2024 academic year, the number of students reached more than 8 million, he said.
Senior General Min Aung Hlaing also urged them to identify and encourage more learning opportunities, including industry, planting, livestock and vocational education.
