Myanmar Equestrian Federation will hold a long-distance equestrian competition on 30 December in the Bagan ancient cultural zone, according to Federation .
Previously the long-distance equestrian competition started in 2018 in Pagan and later was held in Nay Pyi Taw due to Covid-19 pandemic and other various reasons.
The long-distance equestrian competition will be held in Bagan once again to show Myanmar cultural heritages , said U Htay Kyaw , general secretary of Myanmar Equestrian Federation. The current competition is 100 kilometre long competition .
The horse and athlete in competition must undergo medical check-up one day before competition on December 29.
The qualified participants and their horses who take part in the long-distance equestrian competitions will be sent to world competitions.
