The Australian Embassy in Myanmar has released a statement that it will donate an additional 1.7 million US dollars to the flood-affected people throughout Myanmar.
The aid will be used to provide the people affected by the flood with the foods, water and shelters, the statement said.
Australia continues to provide assistance to those in need through its development and humanitarian programs, and is also working with partner organizations to give more priority to be able to use the said aid in the flood relief measures, the statement said.
Moreover, it has also requested relevant officials to ensure that humanitarian supplies can be delivered to all those in need.
