Families of SkyNET and the SHWE BANK of Shwe Thanlwin Holding Company Limited visited the flood-affected people in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory and donated rice boxes to them. On September 15, a total of 2,500 rice boxes were donated to the flood-affected people in a temporary flood relief camp inside Koekhangyi Dhammayon in Hlay Khwin Taung religious property, Kyi Taung Village-tract, Zeyarthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.
Moreover, in Pyinmana Township, 500 rice boxes were donated at the Alantaung Tawya flood relief camp, 200 at the flood relief camp at Shwetaunggya Village near the Sinphyu Hill and 800 at Gadoeseik Basic Pariyatti Sarthintaik as well as 500 rice boxes to the flood-affected people in the villages of Aleiywa, Shanywa and Hteinpin in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.
In the morning on the same day, a total of 4,500 rice boxes containing fried rice with egg, fried egg and fried shrimp-paste were donated and 5,500 rice boxes containing plain rice, dried fish curry with tomato and fried chili in the evening,
Due to the effect of Typhoon Yagi that occurred in the second week of September in Asia, besides some parts of Asia, Myanmar also experienced torrential rains that had caused flooding in some regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory.
