Ministry of Transport and Communications announced that the mobile phone operators donated free calls and text messages (SMS) to mobile phone users in flood-affected areas.
The announcement said that it is providing assistance and support for the convenience of mobile phone users in floods-affected areas.
MPT is offering free 700 minutes of on-net calls and 700 text messages, ATOM is offering free 500 minutes of on-net calls and 500 text messages, Ooredoo is offering free unlimited on-net calls and text messages, Mytel is also offering free 1,000 minutes of on-net calls and 1,000 text messages, according to announcement.
This free donations by mobile operators will be given from September 13th to 7th, according to the announcement.
