The Yangon-Mawlamyine-Yangon special train will be operated with ordinary AAR coaches of trains for the convenience of the departmental staff and passengers during the long Tabaung holidays, according to Mawlamyine Railway Station. The Mawlamyine-Yangon special down – train will depart from Mawlamyine Railway Station at 9:10 a.m. on March 11 and arrive at Yangon Railway Station at 5:55 p.m.
The Yangon-Mawlamyine special up-train will depart from Yangon Central Station at 9:15 a.m. on March 12 and arrive at Mawlamyine Station at 6:00 p.m. Similarly, the special down-train, which will depart from Mawlamyine Station at 9:10 am on March 15, will arrive at Yangon Central Station at 5:55 pm, and the special up-train, which will depart from Yangon Central Station at 9:15 am on March 16, will arrive at Mawlamyine Station at 6:00 pm.
The Yangon-Mawlamyine-Yangon special train will stop at Mottama, Paung, Zinkyait, Rin Nyein, Thaton, Thein Seik, Hnin Pale, Taung Son, Mayangone, Kyaikto, Kyaikkatha, Mopalin, Thein Zarat, Waw, Bago and Toe Gyaung Galay stations. During the long holidays, in addition to the Yangon-Mawlamyine-Yangon special trains, the daily Yangon-Mawlamyine train No. (81) up-train/ No.(82) down-train will also run as usual. Train tickets will be sold at the relevant stations 3 days in advance for higher class and 1 day in advance for ordinary class.
