The Open House Festival, which will highlight the cultural and collaborative spirit of eight embassies based in Yangon, will be held on coming May 24 at the Goethe-Institut Myanmar in Bahan Township, Yangon. The festival is being jointly organized by eight embassies and cultural departments based in Yangon representing Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to experience cultural traditions through culinary demonstrations, art and photography exhibitions, musical performances and language programmes. In addition, Goethe-Institut Myanmar’s departments such as the Language Department, the Library and Information Department and the Cultural Department will present a variety of interesting programmes, including evening music programmes. In addition, there will also be exciting story and drawing programmes for children.
