The border crossings with passport have been allowed as usual through the Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Bridge No. 1 in Tachilek, Shan State (Eastern), according to the Department of Immigration.
It is stated that entry and exit from Myanmar to Thailand or from Thailand to Myanmar with all other types of passports, including PV passports, has been permitted. The reports on social media that said people are banned from traveling with passports were not true. On February 20, today, people are reportedly crossing the Myanmar-Thailand Friendship Bridge No. 1 in Tachilek as usual.
