Operation Lionheart contingent of the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) donated 11 types of search and rescue equipment to the Director-General of the Myanmar Fire Services Department to be used by the Myanmar Fire Department on April 6 before they returned home, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department.

The SCDF team arrived in Myanmar on March 29 with search and rescue equipment, search and rescue dogs and high-tech equipment to work together with the relevant organizations including MFSD in search and rescue operations in the earthquake-affected areas.
The donated items include six festival dome shades, four foldable tables and benches, 79 one-man tents, 80 tent lights, 80 Inflatable pillows, 80 yoga mats, 50 slippers, 10 spray paint cans, one dog food, 50 3M masks, one mini cutter battery, and canned food (OTG).

In the townships of Pyinmana and Pyawbwe, the Singapore team worked together with special teams of MFSD, members of auxiliary fire brigades and relevant organizations in carrying out search and rescue operations and Life Sign Assessment operations.
