It is necessary to constantly preserve Naga region as a peaceful region, said the State Administration Council Member, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye.
General Maung Maung Aye said these words at the Traditional Naga New Year Festival for 2025 held in Lahe in the Naga Self-Administered Zone in Khantee township, Sagaing Region on 15 January. He urged the Naga and other ethnic people living in the region to strive for constant development of economy,education, health and social matters and to work hard.
Furthermore, General Maung Maung Aye said the State Administration Council has been lent Ks.5 billion as a State Economic Promotion Fund for the development of agriculture, livestock and manufacturing in three townships in the Naga Self-Administered Zone and the fund must be effectively implement for development of social life activities.
