2591st Buddha Pujaniya festival has commenced at Mann Shwesettaw Pagoda since February 2, in Minbu(Sagu),Magway Region, according to the Mann Shwesettaw Pagoda Board of Trustee.
The festival will last for 75 days from February 2 to April 17 including Mahar Thingyan holidays. The lodges were constructed to accommodate pilgrims with more than 300 rooms as well as some 350 shops to sell products at the festival.
Mann Shwesettaw Pagoda is a second class pagoda and the festival is the most famous and the longest festival in Myanmar.
