Humanitarian aid donated by Bangladesh, the Philippines and Laos arrived in the areas affected by the Mandalay earthquake, it was announced.
A Bangladesh Navy ship carrying relief supplies and foodstuffs arrived at the MITT Bridge at Thilawa Port in Yangon on the afternoon of April 11, where it was welcomed by senior officers of the Tatmadaw (Navy) and the Bangladesh Military Attaché to Myanmar.
The relief supplies donated by Bangladesh include foodstuffs, tents, clothing, purified drinking water, personal hygiene items and medicines, totaling 120 tonnes.
Similarly, humanitarian aid and consumer goods donated by the Philippines and Laos also arrived at Nay Pyi Taw Tatmadaw Airport on the morning of April 12 and were welcomed by relevant officials.
