Nepal women’s invitational soccer tournament will be held in Nepal and Myanmar woman national team will participate in the events, according to the All Nepal Football Association. The tournament will be held from January 17 to 26 and the host Nepal, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan and Lebanon will participate in the tournament.
The system of the tournament participating four teams has not been announced yet, but will likely play in an all-play-all tournament format, the football fans predict. The Myanmar national women’s national team has been preparing for the international competitions this year since mid-December, and Myanmar player May Htet Lu, who plays in the American college football team, is participating in the training of the Myanmar national team, according to the Myanmar Football Federation.
The Myanmar women’s national team will participate in the ASEAN Women’s Championship, the Asian Cup Women’s Qualifier and the (33rd) Thai SEA Games in this year. The head coach of the team Japanese national Uki Tetsuro has been handling the team and 32 players have been selected as preliminary players.
