Myanmar will compete in more types of sports than in the last year in the upcoming SEA Games, according to Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
33rd SEA Games will be hosted in Thailand from December 9 to December 20 and 50 types of sports will be competed. Myanmar is planning to compete in 24 types of games and only 19 types of SEA Games were competed in the previous 32nd SEA Games.
32nd SEA Games were hosted by Cambodia from May 5 to May 17 and Myanmar won 21 gold, 25 silver and 68 bronze medals.
