Yangon International Airport has announced that all passengers departing from Yangon International Airport will be charged an airport tax of US$25 for international flights and 15,000 kyats for domestic flights starting May 12.
Passengers who purchased air tickets before May 12 will have to contact the relevant airlines or travel agencies to pay the adjusted airport tax.
Passenger Service Charge (PSC) is a fee charged for services provided to passengers at airports (or airfields), and it is also known as Airport Tax and included in the ticketing process.
