Palm oil was sold three visses for one retired employee who draw pension at the branches of Myanma Economic Bank, a responsible person of Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association told One News.

Palm oil has been sold for retired employees at nine branches of Myanma Economic Bank from January 21 to 24 and the price is Ks.8500 per viss. There are over 100,000 retired persons in Yangon Region who draw pension every month and the palm oil will be sold at the branches of Myanma Economic Bank where most of retired persons come to draw pension every month, said a responsible person of Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association
It is estimated to sell palm oil between 80,00 visses and 100,000 visses every month for the retired employees. This will be convenient for the elderly retired persons without going to market to buy palm oil. Similarly, palm oil has been sold to government employees, industrial zone employees and monasteries, said a responsible person from Myanmar Edible Oil Dealers’ Association.
