The 11th batch of 340 modular (prefabricated) houses donated by the People’s Republic of China to be used in the reconstruction work after the Mandalay earthquake in Myanmar was received at Thilawa Port on May 3 morning.
The cargo ship carrying the donated materials from China arrived at Thilawa Port (MITT) at around 4:30 pm on May 2. The materials were received by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials from the Economic Attaché of the Chinese Embassy at the port.

The Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials inspected the loading of the 340 modular (prefabricated) houses from trucks to train cars by cranes to be transported from Yangon Region to earthquake-hit areas by Myanma Railways.
