More than Ks.200 million and bank books were found on May 26 during the clearance operation at the Sky Villa building in Mandalay, which was destroyed by the earthquake, according to the Myanmar Fire Brigade.
During the clearance operation with its machinery, the Myanmar Fire Brigade found over Ks.140 million from room number (J 4), Ks.45 million, 9 bank passbooks, 2 ATM cards, and 2 gold rings, from the safe box in room number (H 3) of the (B) dormitory, which were handed over to the owners through the Property Transfer Team, the statement said.

In addition, Ks.15.9 million and two smart cards were found in the room number (I 3) of the (B) dormitory, and they were handed over to the owner by the Property Transfer Team. So far, 52 survivors have been rescued from the collapse of the Sky Villa building due to the Mandalay earthquake, and more than 100 bodies have been recovered.
